Apart from the normal casework carvings that are customary for any Model B Phonoliszt-Violina, this choice specimen features extensive brass ormolu ornamentation, as well as superb examples of marquetry, which are centered on each upper access side panel. Each inset panel of marquetry is carefully crafted of painstakingly inlaid fruitwoods of various colors, all set into polished ebony, rendering a stunning musical motif. The left side panel (which is not shown here) compliments the right panel in that it is not an identical copy, but rather a reversed (mirrored) image.
