Catalogue illustration circa 1915/1918. The original factory made side-wings for all known Philipps Pianellas do not contain any musical instrumentation, and are basically nothing more than decorative and empty shells. However, the side-wings do permit limited internal access via removable panels, and therefore provide a limited amount of storage for music rolls.
