Catalogue illustration circa 1911-1912. In the Philipps catalogue, the Pianella Model 28 (Victoria) is
shown with two decorative, hanging beaded electric lamps above each
of the two beveled side mirrors. However, due to the differences
in electrical standards and equipment between Europe and the U.S.,
Wurlitzer installed most, if not all, of the electrical components
here in the U.S. Thus, it was oftentimes the case that fancy electrical
fixtures common on Pianellas for the European market were not installed
on U.S. bound instruments.
