Bob Huish is shown demonstrating the centerpiece of his collection, the Wurlitzer Style 29C Mandolin PianOrchestra.

Only two years earlier, in 1952, did Mr. Huish discover the forgotten instrument, hidden for decades in a bricked over alcove on the mezzanine floor of the old Banner theater in downtown Los Angeles (Orange County REGISTER photo, dated October 20, 1954).
