A Repair Bill Dated March 15, 1924, for Repairing Laura Evans'
Wurlitzer Style 30-A Mandolin PianOrchestra

1924 bill to Laura Evans for repairs on the 30A PianOrchestra.

This repair bill was for work done on the PianOrchestra on behalf of Laura Evans, the machine's owner. This bill covers travel (by railroad), lodging (at a local Salida hotel) and repairs and servicing for the Wurlitzer Style 30A Mandolin PianOrchestra.

The repairman traveled from Denver, Colorado, by train and was probably associated with the Knight-Campbell Music Company, who was the Wurlitzer distributor in Denver, and which company also sold the PianOrchestra to Laura Evans, of Salida, Colorado, in 1914.

By the late 1920's, the regular repair service once available for this instrument was no longer obtainable, as the PianOrchestra was, by then, considered very obsolete.
