Note the beautifully restored casework and the original Bontems mechanical singing birds in the gilded cage, which is located in the mirrored center niche. The mechanical birds chirp and flap their delicately feathered wings when the spring-motor mechanism is automatically tripped during rewinding of the music rolls.
