Beginning the erection of the large Welte Style 6 Concert Orchestrion in Baltimore, Maryland (July 1985).

Erecting the structural and mechanical framework of the mighty Welte orchestrion. Durward Center can be seen standing in the upper portion of the instrument, his feet planted firmly on the massive pipe chest, which both supports and operates the various ranks of pipes.

Installing the pipework in the large Welte Style 6 Concert Orchestrion in Baltimore, Maryland (July 1985).

With the drums (trapwork) and most of the pipes already in place, Durward Center, kneeling on the elevated plank, inserts and adjust the pipework located at the front of the Welte.
